Built in 1999, the Staples Center in Los Angeles is a world class venue for both sporting and
entertainment events. The center was recognized for its excellence shortly after its opening when
it received the Pollstar CIC Arena of the Year Award for two successive years. The multi purpose
venue is home to five professional sports franchises such as the LA Lakers and LA Clippers of the
NBA, Los Angeles King’s of the NHL, Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, and the Los Angeles Avengers of
the AFL.
The World Heavyweight Boxing Championships, 10 sold-out WWE dates, Stars on Ice, UFC
39, Harlem Globetrotters and Michael Flatley's "Feet of Flames" were all recently held at the
Staples Center, as well as several high profile events like the 2000 Democratic National
Convention, 2002 NHL All-Star Game, 2002 US Figure Skating Championships and seven Grammy Awards
Shows.
Staples Center also features concerts and performances, including shows by recent guests U2,
Paul McCartney, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Van Halen, and Prince.

hotel near Staples Center that offers its
guests the chance to catch an exciting game or a fantastic musical performance from renowned

The two closest Ticketmaster outlets to Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles are Ritmo Latino on 324 S.
Broadway and the La Curacao on 1605 W. Olympic Blvd.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Staples Center Box Office. On event days the Box Office
is open from on from 9:00 AM until 30 minutes after the event starts. On non-event days the box
office is open from 9:00 AM till 6:00 PM.
