Award-Winning History

The legendary Oscar award was first conceived inside the Biltmore’s Crystal Ballroom during the 1927 founding banquet of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.  The Los Angeles hotel has been steadily churning out awards ever since by delivering top-notch service and quality to our customers.  Recent awards include three consecutive Gold Key Awards from Meetings & Conventions Magazine (2007-2009) and a 2008 Platinum Choice Award from Smart Meetings Magazine.
