Los Angeles is proud to be the host once again for the Summer X-Games, happening this year July 29-August 1 in downtown.  Held primarily at the Staples Center and L.A. Live, the event features extreme sports competitions including skateboarding, BMX biking, Motocross and rally car racing and promises to attract major athletes and celebrities to downtown.

2010 marks the 7th consecutive year ESPN has chosen Los Angeles to host the games, which will be broadcast on all ESPN channels throughout the 4-day event.  A list of invited athletes can be found on the event website here.  The public can also purchase tickets to the games through Ticketmaster or the Staples Center box office.
